Day 4 with massive, full body allergic reaction to mussels – borderline anaphylaxis. Most likely aggravated by several iodine injections for CT with contrast last week. Left ear turned deaf with severe angioedema and swelling up to twice its normal size. Right ear at ~20%. Required epinephrine shot.Urticaria (or hives) only now slowly receding. Less itching than in previous days. Back to some sleeping and less scratching. D#2 suggested patting instead of scratching. Worked better, but hard to discipline myself. Prednisone sending BS into nose-spin. Leprous rash on arms almost gone. First day for short sleeves again. D#1 now down with nasty sun burn on belly. Been some vacation – gone in a rash.
